Delivery area delivery restaurants<\/h1><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The places and neighborhoods where the restaurant delivers form the delivery area. Often a restaurant delivers in a radius of 5 to 10 km, depending on whether delivery is done by (electric) bike, scooter or moped, or by car. When ordering food online, a delivery check is performed <\/span>using the purchaser’s zip code. If the customer enters a postal<\/span> code that is not in the delivery area, the order can not be place. <\/span><\/p>\n

Sitedish’s website and app allow you to set delivery terms for each zip code. You can therefore apply different delivery costs per district or location, or set a different minimum amount or free delivery from amount. You will also be able to see the number of orders and revenue per zip code.<\/span><\/p>\n

A delivery service can determine the delivery setting in three ways:<\/span><\/p>\n

Minimum order amount<\/strong>: the amount excluding delivery charges that must be ordered as a minimum<\/span>\nDelivery fee: <\/strong>the cost for delivery\n<\/span>Free from:<\/strong> an order amount from which free delivery is available<\/span><\/p>\n

TIP: VAT on delivery costs<\/h4>\n

Delivery services miss out on a lot of money by charging 21% VAT on delivery costs, while this is usually not the case! The Dutch tax authorities state that the same rate applies to delivery charges as to the goods being delivered, which in practice means that it is more often 9% than 21%! TIP: Optimize delivery area<\/h4>\n

Sitedish keeps track of how much is ordered per postal code, and how much turnover you generate per postal code. Use this information to your advantage by advertising in the districts with low order volumes, or increasing the minimum order amounts for the districts with low order volumes.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
